Sentrol Automation L.L.C is currently engaged in a project for a Drug Manufacturing Company (Pharma) located in Sohar, Oman. The project involves the implementation of a Building Management System to enhance operational efficiency and control of HVAC equipment within the facility.

Installation of DDC Controls from TREND/Honeywell for Monitoring & Controlling of HVAC equipment.
Monitoring and control of Chillers, Pumps, Air Handling Units (AHUs), and Fan Coil Units (FCUs).

Drug Manufacturing Company LLC (DMC), an Omani-based Pharmaceutical company began its commercial operations in 2^nd quarter of 2021 to cater to rapidly growing demands of the global drug markets.

Implementing High Availability Solution (Hot Standby Redundancy) PLC System & HMIs for controlling and monitoring HVAC equipment including Package Units, Heaters, Extract Fans, Fire Dampers, etc.
Installation and configuration of control systems for:
- Central Control Building
- Emergency Centre and Medical Facility Building
- Well Engineering Workshop Building
- Operation Workshop Building
- Canteen and Recreation Building
Utilization of ABB – AC-500 High Availability Solution (Hot Standby Redundancy) PLC System & HMIs for project requirements.
Local control and monitoring of HVAC equipment through Graphics Pages displayed on 15” Touch panels mounted on Control Panel Fascia.
Integration of Plant DDCs/HVAC Control panels with the DCS for maintenance alerts and troubleshooting.

Ain Tsila Gas Field is situated in the Illizi Basin within the Sahara Desert’s eastern region in southeast Algeria.
The project is currently in the engineering phase, with ongoing development and implementation of control systems.

The Ain Tsila gas field is a natural gas field located in the Illizi Province. It was discovered in 2012 and developed by Petroceltic International.

Controls Systems Used:

Sidem had appointed Dubai Air Conditioning for the HVAC scope works in the project and Sentrol had been appointed for the Supply, Testing and commissioning of PLC Controls & MCC panels for Controlling and Monitoring of the HVAC system for three buildings.
Sentrol has provided PLC Controls & 15” Touch Panels from ABB for the Controls and monitoring of the HVAC equipment. The MCC Panels are also supplied with ABB Switchgear.
The HVAC Equipment is locally controlled and monitored through the Graphics Pages provided on the 15” Touch panels which is mounted on the Control Panel Fascia.
The Plant PLCs/ HVAC Control panels were connected to the DCS through volt free contacts which can warn the maintenance engineer of any trouble within the facility.
The Project has been commissioned in 2014 and handed over to the client.

The plant is built and operated by Marafiq. This Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) plant uses Reverse Osmosis technology and is located on the Sadara premises. Marafiq has awarded EPC and O&M contracts to Sidem, which is part of the internationally reputed Veolia French group.

Controls Systems Used:

Provide PLC Controls & MCC Panels for Controlling and Monitoring of HVAC equipment for 2 Buildings.
Sentrol has provided PLC Controls & 15” Touch Panels from ABB for the Controls and monitoring of the HVAC equipment. The MCC Panels are also supplied with ABB Switchgear.
The HVAC Equipment is locally controlled and monitored through the Graphics Pages provided on the 15” Touch panels which are mounted on the Control Panel Fascia.
The Plant PLC was connected to the DCS through software integration on Modbus / IP
The Project has been commissioned in 2016 and handed over to the client.

Qatalum is an aluminium smelter plant located in Mesaieed Industrial Area that is a joint venture between QatarEnergy and Norsk Hydro.

Controls Systems Used:

Provide Building Automation System for the HVAC equipment like FAHU, AHUs & Fan Coil Units, etc. Various Third-Party Systems are also integrated to BACnet/IP & Modbus protocols.
Sentrol has provided DDC Controls & IQVision BMS Supervisor software from TREND Controls/Honeywell. The project consists of 2500 data points incorporated in 5 Outstation panels for the HVAC Controls.
The Boilers, ETP & Air Compressor, etc.. are also software integrated to BMS.
The Project has been commissioned in 2019 and handed over to the client.

Controls Systems Used:

Sentrol Automations has provided DDC Controls from TREND & JACE Controls/Honeywell & Niagara supervisory software for the User interface from Tridium / Honeywell for the HVAC Controls and we have provided MCC Panels with ABB Switchgear.

Controls Systems Used:

Provide HVAC Controls & MCC Panels for the HVAC equipment’s for the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP), Oxygen Generation Plant Building & Oxygen filling station Buildings.

We have provided DDC Controls from TREND Controls / Honeywell & 15” Touch Panels from Loytec for the HVAC Controls and we have provided MCC Panels with ABB make of Switchgear.

The HVAC Equipment is locally controlled and monitored through the Graphics Pages provided on the 15” Touch panels which is mounted on the Control Panel Fascia.

The Plant DDCs/ HVAC Control panels were connected to the DCS through volt free contacts which can warn the maintenance engineer of any trouble within the facility.

Türkmengaz is the state-owned National Gas Company of Turkmenistan. The project was the development of the South Yoloten gas field situated approximately 400 km southeast of the capital Ashgabat.

Petrofac Engineering Sharjah was the EPC contractor for the project and Sentrol Automations was awarded the order.
